The Schedule

(and yes, there are replays if you need to miss some day)

From January 13th-16th invest 3 days of a 1-h class at 14.00 (Amsterdam time) and accountability to boost your scientific writing and productivity after the summer ๐ŸŽŠ

Here is the program of the daily classes (with room for modifications ๐Ÿฅฐ):

  • Day 1: Setting your yearly SMARTER goals, the key to having a more productive and mindful year.
  • Day 2: Plan the year to rock your writing. Our yearly workshop where you'll learn our planning process that will boost your writing.
  • Day 3: Our 3-part system to focus and write that goes from understanding the energy of your tasks, to building effective writing habits to boost your creativity.

And it comes with a special BONUS ๐ŸŽŠ

During the bootcamp you can also attend 3 focus sessions from our paid programs

These sessions are 2-hour co-working sessions in Zoom, where in silence you'll be writing your paper or grant proposal, and implementing what you learn in the classes. The sessions are facilitated by me, Alison or Judy; our amazing editors ๐Ÿฅฐ

All to create that accountability to block time for writing, while surrounded by a like-minded community of scientists ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ The schedule of these focus sessions is:

  • Monday 13th, 15.00-17.00
  • Wednesday 15th, 16.00-18.00
  • Thursday 16th 9.00-11.00

All this is to give you that boost of motivation to not stop writing!

This will be our 3rd Bootcamp, and more than 2000 people have joined so far (+ thousands more in our free classes). I asked them in what ways the BootCamp had helped them, and here are some of their answers:

Meet Ana.

Hi, Iโ€™m Ana Pineda, PhD and I help academics like you to focus and write. I've taken everything I've learned from more than 15 years of doing research and helped thousands of scientists with their writing and productivity so they can feel confident with their work. Through my courses, writing retreats, and free materials like this, we follow a mindful approach to getting things done. The things that matter to you!

My mission is to make this world better by helping scientists to have a more productive, more creative, and happier research life. Should we start?

Most scientists feel they donโ€™t have enough time to write in their days

In between experiments, teaching, supervision and admin tasks, when you finally have time to write, youโ€™re probably exhausted and cannot focus.

The solution is to make time to write. But often that sounds easier than done. And over and over the best way to start is having some accountability. Plus nothing like starting the year fresh with clear goals and a plan ๐ŸŽŠ

TheBootcamp Your Year of Focus and Writing, is here to help you with that accountability. But also to change what was not working so far and start this year with new habits and skills to stay focused and write a lot!
