The Schedule

(and yes, there are replays if you need to miss some day)

From January 19-22, invest 3 days with a 1-h class at 13.00 (Amsterdam time) and accountability to kick off a year of focus, writing, and funding ideas šŸŽŠ

Here is the program of the daily classes (with room for modifications 🄰):

  • Day 1- Monday: Making a plan to avoid the two traps that stop scientists from even applying: Time and the Idea. And you'll leave with a plan for both.
  • Day 2- Tuesday: The 5 mindset shifts to write your grants like a business CEO. With clear tips to start right away.
  • Day 3- Thursday: Our 4-part system to grant writing, which includes a mix of mindset, creativity, writing skills, and sales skills.

And it comes with a special BONUS šŸŽŠ

During the bootcamp you can also attend 3 focus sessions from our paid programs

These sessions are 2-hour co-working sessions in Zoom, where in silence you'll be writing your paper or grant proposal, and implementing what you learn in the classes. The sessions are facilitated by me, Alison or Judy; our amazing editors 🄰

All to create that accountability to block time for writing, while surrounded by a like-minded community of scientists šŸ™ŒšŸ¼ The schedule of these focus sessions is:

  • Monday 19th, 15.00-17.00
  • Wednesday 21st, 16.00-18.00
  • Thursday 22nd 9.00-11.00

All this is to give you that boost of motivation to not stop writing!

This will be our 4rd Bootcamp, and more than 3000 people have joined so far (+ thousands more in our free classes). I asked them in what ways the BootCamp had helped them, and here are some of their answers:

Meet Ana.

Hi, I’m Ana Pineda, PhD and I help academics like you to focus and write. I've taken everything I've learned from more than 15 years of doing research and helped thousands of scientists with their writing and productivity so they can feel confident with their work. Through my courses, writing retreats, and free materials like this, we follow a mindful approach to getting things done. The things that matter to you!

My mission is to make this world better by helping scientists to have a more productive, more creative, and happier research life. Should we start?

Why a "Getting funded" theme?

Because I want you to have more money.

I work daily with amazing, conscious, and rockstar scientists. Even if we don't work together, you are probably also one of these conscious scientists who want to change the world. And I see that academia would be a better place if there were more people like you, and with funding for their teams and their research.

More people like you to supervise PhDs, postdocs and train future generations of scientists who put people first.

More people like you to model what it means to do amazing science AND be a human who has a life and prioritises that.

More people like you who felt like they didn't belong in academia. Maybe for being a woman, a neurodivergent person, or a foreigner.

Yes, I want more people like you in academia, and with money.

And I've learned a few things about getting money I'd like to share with you!
